I’ve always had a deep love for animals. Growing up on a small farm surrounded by them, dogs in particular held a special place in my heart from my earliest memories. My journey with dogs began with a patient, gentle companion who allowed a toddler to dump sand all over him without a second thought—a quiet lesson in trust and unconditional love that stayed with me.

As a child, I dreamed big, imagining a world where all my animals lived together in an enormous imaginary mansion. That connection deepened as I grew older and raised my “children” dogs—a pair of littermates I trained in obedience alongside my husband. They taught me far more than I ever taught them: patience, resilience, and how to navigate life’s challenges with grace, especially as we worked through health issues together.

Today, my bond with dogs continues through my current companion, a service dog who is always by my side. Dogs have taught me some of life’s most valuable lessons—how to greet the world with joy, how to forgive easily, and how to stay present. They’ve been my greatest teachers and my most steadfast friends.

How DogStoreOnline Has Evolved

As DogStoreOnline has grown, the focus of the store has evolved as well. Today, the brand centers on thoughtfully designed, breed-specific products created to feel intentional rather than mass-produced. Instead of offering a broad catalog, the store is built around curated print-on-demand designs—organized by breed and refined by color—to create collections that feel cohesive and personal.

This approach allows DogStoreOnline to focus on design quality, consistency, and clarity, while offering products created specifically for the breeds we feature. Each collection is designed with purpose, whether it’s a single piece or a coordinated set meant to work together in everyday spaces.

Behind the scenes, DogStoreOnline is built using tools I’ve relied on for years in my creative work. Designs are created using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Stock, Canva, and Animoto, with content planned and shared through Buffer. The store itself runs on Shopify, with print-on-demand production handled through Printful to ensure flexibility and consistency as the brand grows.

I’ve worked on MSI laptops for over a decade, choosing them originally for their performance and reliability as a creative workhorse—and continuing to use them today across multiple projects. These tools aren’t partnerships or promotions; they’re simply the systems I trust to support the creative process behind the brand.
